SCIENTIST Outings/Activities
This badge is not that amenable to outings. The leader should do a little research and work on most of these in a patrol meeting but spread over a couple meetings and test/re-test for comprehension. An appropriate outing would make a nice topper but suit yourself.

1. Camp-In at the Maryland Science Center (601 Light Street; Baltimore, MD). [C. Campo, Pack 899]. Has some nice Webelos overnight programs available but they aren't geared towards earning any one achievement. They change themes every year but have a visit to the IMAX theater as a constant as well as free time in the various parts of the center. This year's theme is "slime". {webmaster: be advised that I've also heard negative feedback about the guides talking over the children's heads.}
