The new Basic Leader Training comprises two parts: New Leader Essentials for all unit-level leaders and Leader Specific training, which is based on the leader's unit-level position. The course is held in two parts. Part 1 includes Leader Basic Training and will include youth protection (Required by all Scout Leaders). This training lasts approximately 3 hours. The second part is Leader specific training for Cub Scout Leader Basic Training.
